GC score - Bag End content....

Browsing around on GC's used site,...found a Bag End S15C, loaded with a JBL 2226H,...for the low low price of,............................................... .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. .................................................. ........................................$99.00!!!

To top it off, they only charged me $10.00 shipping! I now have a bass rig that can fit in the trunk of my Z4! Incredible! Will run this with my Aguilar 500sc and should be a happy camper, it might even work well with my Roland Bass cube 100, but have a feeling it would be seriously underpowered with that configuration. Anyway,..just had to share my excitement,..hope everyone else has a very happy holiday!

^ was told that it was "ugly",.. the older black rat fur version,....but that it sounded great and was fully functional,...no cracks, tears, etc,...should be here next week sometime. Crossing my fingers and hoping it's not one of those, "too good to be true" deals. If it is,..return it to my local store and drive on!

Somewhat OT: I remember seeing a used Warwick Thumb BO fretless 4 for a good price on the GC online site. It was at the GC close to one of my friends, so he checked it out. Turned out that the truss rod was non-functional, and the neck was shimmed to bring the action down, despite the fact that it was about 1/2" of the fretboard. Hope you have better luck!

Will post the results after it arrives. I'm betting, somewhat selfishly, that it's gonna be a solid cab with no problems other than some really nappy looking rat fur. We'll find out by next weekend. Stay tuned for the results!

Stranger things have happened. Each of mine cost me about the same as yours, purchased retail, but have been around the block...at the end of a chain...dragged behind a truck. They still sound great! Love these cabs and they are just as portable as you're expecting.

Seems like it was from a north carolina store,..will have to check my credit card statement to be sure though. There's another one in St Louis for $127 I believe,...if anyone's on the lookout for some BE goodness.

Just a quick update,..it arrived yesterday, plugged my aggy 500sc into it today and the little cab ROCKS! It's in surprisingly good condition. From the sales guys description, I expected it to be on the ratty side. One cracked corner guard, but other than that, solid as a rock! Will gig it on Wednesday,...should handle things just fine!

It's all about being at the right place and the right time. Nice score.
I've had one for 15 years now. Great cab. Lot of retail workers don't know equipment very well.
I bought a Tobias Classic 5 for a $1000.00 from a store that advertised it as a Tobias Standard. Doh!
