genz benz 10" shuttle combo/extension cab?

Sign in to disble this ad
hi all,
i'm thinking about picking up one of these ultra light 10" genz benz cabs. i already have a shuttle 9 head. the normal head mount frame on the combo only fits the shuttle 3. can i install a larger one frame for my 9? is the only difference between the combo cab and "extension" cab the presence of the head mount frame?

thanks,
blakelock

The combo cab includes the frame for the amp, and a built in 1/4" cable.

The extension cab includes neither of those, and requires using a neutrik cable to hook it to the shuttle amp. (It may also have a 1/4" jack, but I can't recall.)

I doubt the shuttle 9 frame would fit, but I'm pretty certain there is no place to mount a frame on the ext cab.

thanks for the info conundrum. for some reason, the GB website doesn't have manuals for these cabs. so these details are hard to find.
