I am looking at one of these used. Its an older model, 750 watts at 6 ohms.

What can you guys tell me about this?? Will it hang with the newer Genz stuff??

Ill be driving it with a GBE 1200, btw

Thanks! Jim

I used a GB610T-XB2 (4 ohms) with a GBE1200 for 3-4 years with great results. I haven't seen many 610T-XB cabs around. I'd suggest that you visit the G-B website and contact Jeff Genzler via email. He'll give you the straight goods on what you can expect with this cab/amp combination.

I used an 8-ohm XB series 410 with my GBE 1200 for a couple of years... it was a great (and heavy ) cab. Easy to transport with the casters and built to last. I was a big mid-scooper at the time and tuned A-C-G-C-F, but it handled everything I could throw at it without hesitation. For the stretch of time that I had it and was EQd normally, I remember it being even and punchy with nice tight lows that were still big (not Ampeg HLF big), with a nice subtle grind when pushed. honestly, I kinda wish that I still had it You won't be disappointed.
