Genz Benz GB410T-STD Anyone know about these cabs?

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a chance to pick up a Genz Benz GB410T-STD pretty cheap on CL, but I can't find any thing about then on the internet. I think they were the first verion of the LS 410T that were made in the 90's. Anyone got info on these?

An earlier version and slightly heavier duty than the LS. Rather old school traditionally voiced.

No from my understanding this is a different cab that was built before all the stuff listed on the the discontinued section on the the genz benz website.

I would take any GB 410 any day, But the older one may weight ton. If not to heavy and the price is right might be a good deal if not all beat up.

Don't mean to hijack the thread, but would this cab you're looking at look anything like the one in this thread?

New Rig - GK amp & GB cab

I picked this up a few weeks ago, but cannot find anything about from the Genz Benz website, nor anywhere else that Google takes me. FWIW it's 400w 8ohms, and that's all I know about it.

I got it for $250. Talked the guy down from $300.

I probably could have found a better deal if I kept looking, but I was leaning toward GB and it's in excellent condition. Plus they're pretty rare on the resale market. Lots of Behringers and the lower-end models of Hartkes and GK's all over craigslist, but only the second Genz Benz cab I'd ran across in about 3 months, so I went ahead and bought it.

I have that cab and like it. It is a little boomy on the bottom end, but I'm really nitpicking there. It's a nice cab. $250 would be a stretch for me, but I'd probably go $200 all day long. Don't ask what I paid for mine unless you want to get sick
