I just picked up a nice pair of Genz Benz cabinets. A 2x10 XB Extended Range, and a GB 115B single 15. Both are 8 ohm cabinets rated at 250 watts for the 2x10,and 300 watts for the single 15. I want to use a Genz Benz head and was looking at the Shuttle 3.0. My question is,will this head be able to power these for small venues,or should I go to the 6.0? |

You can always adapt from speak-on to 1.4" or change the connectors on the cabinet (most can be changed with some skilled work and effort).

Mark | won't argue that, but a 12.0 could take out those speakers pretty easily.

I can handle all kind of gigs with my 3.0 and 4x10 cab.
If the 3.0 is enough for you depends on the voicing of your cabs. As long as they're punchy en provide enough low mids there shouldn't be a problem. |
