Genz Benz NEO 212 vs. Uber 212

I am looking for opinions on GB NEO 212 vs. GB Uber 212. Amp is Streamliner 900. Instruments are upright bass, Lakland 55-02, and fretless Lakland AJ5. Need lots of stage volume. If both cabs were mint and prices were similar, what would you buy if you couldn't play either one in person? Advantages, disadvantages?

Thanks,
Bill

I prefer the vertical arrangement of the neox. It's heard better by everyone, easier to move, and fits better in a car.

Regardless of which you chose, be careful as the 900 will easily blow either one up.

I like the vertical alignment on the NeoX as well, but prefer the TONE from the Uber. NeoX is more modern sounding, Uber has an old school "flavor", but plenty of punch.

I've a Neo212 that I've owned for years. I can't find anything that sounds better at volume and is easier to load. I'd love to try an Uber, but don't think I would gain anything. The Neo212 with a TH500 just rocks! I do use a Aggie SL112 for the really small gigs.
I'm satisfied completely!

Thanks, everyone. I intend to deal on a local NEO this week. All the research and opinions assure me that the NEO will get me where I want to go.

Don't worry, Bill... I won't blow it up. I want that extra headroom. And just in case I can pick up a GK 4x12 sometime.
