Do they make this cab in an 8 ohm version. If not, why?

Not according to their site

It means doubling the SKUs of drivers and cabs. When that's not a viable option you do the version that there's the most demand for.

So would I be better off going with the UBER series that has an 8 ohm option? I'm going to be running 2 of these with a Shuttle 9. I want the flexibility to use just one cab for rehearsals or small venues without PA support.

Does your amp handle 2 ohm loads? If so no worries. If not you need 8 ohm cabs.

The Shuttle 9.0 (assuming it's very similar to my Shuttle 6.0) does not handle a 2 ohm load.

The original question wasn't about the load, as I know I need (2) 8 ohm cabs. I wanted to know if this particular cab was available in an 8 ohm version.

I am also interested in the UBER version of the 210, and wonder if 2 of these would sound similiar to the NEO.

I just thought of another issue. The UBER looks like it wouldn't stack as well vertically (on it's side) as the NEO. Any insight?

The Uber is more low-mid oriented with less upper-mid articulation, which is pretty opposite from the Neox line. They're also considerably heavier by comparison. You might want to consider the Shuttle 12.0 as it would let you push two 4 ohm Neox cabs.

The Uber cabs would stack better vertically. IMHO, stacking the Neox 212's on their sides is silly. They don't stand very tall, and who really needs that kind of fire power blasting down at knee level? Another drawback is that the Neox 212's stacked vertically is way too tall IMO. The 212/112 however stacks wonderfully, and is a bit taller than an 810. It doesn't pack the same wallup, but honestly do you really need that kind of volume? Maybe you do, I don't know.

I wasn't asking about the NEO 212's. I'm looking at the 210's. Plus I want to stack them VERTICALLY to get the most height out of them.

Ah, sorry, must have misread. The same tonal description still applies. The Neox 210's will stack vertically a little better for sure.
