I was convinced on another thread to keep my GB Shuttle 6 and to try another cabinet (currently a GK 410 BLX). I play from praise and worship to metal(ish), and I am looking for a fuller sound with more punch and good bottom. My budget is $600 or a little more and I'm not concerned with the size of the speakers, just the sound.

I have gain at 1 volume at 11. Master to taste and it opened the amp for me Avatar B210, P-bass. It may bring life back to your cab. In the streamliner thread the amp and cab match is a toss towards what tone you want. I'm also in the same boat looking for a "better" cab for my 6.0.

It's very compact and kicks serious butt. I do use the "bass" button on, and I also use an EBS ValveDrive preamp for more of a tube sound. It sounds great.

I can't swing the $, so I'm getting
an Avatar TB153 to go with a
Streamliner 600. Similar, but not
exact match with what you're doing.

| | | | I use mine with a pair of NeoX 112s. No complaints. A NeoX 212 is great as well. I went with 2 112s for ease of movement. |

I'm using an Avatar B410 Neo, gets the job done for club work.
