Anyone have one one of these? I was having trouble finding reviews online anywhere. I am contemplating getting one for my Shuttlemax 6.0 and hoping to get some opinions about how much protection they provide.

I have one for my 12.0. Seams to be well made and it is padded. It won't offer as much protection as a rack of course but I'm happy with mine.

Thanks modulusman! I meant to include that in my original post, I certainly don't expect it to do what a rack can do. Anyone else?

Given Genz's CS record, I would buy one and confidently expect them to stand behind it if it didn't do what you reasonably expected it to do.

Well, it's a padded bag for a head that weighs less than 8 pounds. I can't imagine there's much they could screw up on it

I looked at one when I bought my S9. It looked like it would do a fine job of protecting the amp when transporting the amp around.

I ended up passing on the bag because it wasn't big enough to carry other stuff.

I ended up using a laptop bag. The laptop bag works perfect for hauling (and protecting) the amp and other stuff.

When I go out, my computer bag holds:
1 - Shuttle 9 and power cable
2 - Instrument cables (18 foot and 7 foot)
1 - 5 foot speaker cable
1 - 3 ring binder for my music
1 - Fender Folding Guitar Stand
1 - Clip on Tuner
1 - Pedal (w extra batteries)
Picks and string

And sometimes even my laptop and power supply.

For me that means that I can arrive; put my bass on back pack style, put the laptop bag on over the shoulder, grab my Berg HT112, and still have one free hand to push the remote to lock up my car and grab my coffee.

I bought a GB gig bag for my Shuttle 6 and about 2 months after owning it began to rip at the seams near the zipper. Eventually it split the entire length of the bag so I sewed it up this past weekend. Seems to be working okay now.
My guess is GB probably has someone else make these bags and then have them stitch their names on it. I know GB CS is top notch but I figure why bother them with this kind of thing?

Thanks for the input guys. I know it isn't a major purchase. But for a bag it is a decent bit of cash IMO so it is good to get some opinions. Especially about how it wears.

Did you mean they're or there are or there's?

I meant "there" and "mutha" and "D'oh".

Context is everything.

I posted earlier about owning a shuttlemax 12.0 bag. I use one of these for my 9.0 and 6.0. http://backstage.musiciansfriend.com...545857.product Great quality. You would need the 12"x12"model.

I have one for my Shuttle 6.0. Nice bag, don't use it much - my amp stays docked on top of my 12T speaker.

I bought the G-B bag for my ShuttleMAX 12.0 when I bought it 18 mths ago. The bag has held up very well since then, and I pack it full of stuff.
