Genz Benz Streamliner 900 vs. LMII

I know the Streamliner is more powerful, but does anybody know how they compare (if at all) tonally? I use passive and active J's and PJ's.

Yes, they are different, but only a test drive will reveal which would suit you better. I would choose neither, but that's me- both amps have huge fan bases here on TB, and both have multiple threads full of descriptive terminology, but when it comes right down to it, only YOUR ears will know for sure.

I have owned both, currently have the streamliner 900. The LMII is clean as hell and loud, I always used it with the eq flat and a bit of LVE, very transparent amp that works great with a VT bass. The Streamliner is warm, has its own voice but for good, you can get a nice overdrive tone, I use the eq and gain alot, many usefull tones. + 1 on try both, there is a video on you tube where Ed Friedland give a review of the streamliner....here you go http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-27szg61bw
