Very nice shot from the last thread to start the new one off.

Love the bass too - now to go have a shot of brandy...

sweet pic! what is in the glass?

I loved my Streamliner 600 while I had it, and have considered getting another(900 most likely). The berg HS cab provided the "too much of a good thing" wiht that head to my ears, so maybe I should give it another go now that I have 2 Berg AE cabs....hmm...

Fresh thread, so now is as good as time to ask;

Anyone else have the blue light on the tubes go out? Noticed last night that mine didn't come on when I powered up. Amp still plays as nice as it always has. I just can't see my tubes anymore :/

There have been a few posts about the LED connection coming loose on the 'window light'. Contact Genz and they will take care of it. It has no impact on the performance on the amp.

Subbed. I'll be gigging my 900 on Saturday night. I can't wait!

IMO the key to using this head with a wider variety of basses and cabs is to treat it as if the Bass and Treble controls were almost boost-only. If you set both bass and treble at 9:00 to start, set your first gain where it sounds good, and tweak from there, you have way more mid shaping options than if you start with everything at 12:00. Like any tone circuit based on the old Fender tone stack, you can increase mids by turning down bass and treble.

Still liking mine so much. With a P bass and Barefaced Dubster my sound is massive!

barefaced dubster!!! Have you ever smashed your walls? Just curious about all barefaced gear...it's not a good thing that there are no video samples and review on the web...

It does feel like it will take walls down!

The 2 cabs I used before were a Berg NV610 and then a Berg NV412. I much prefer the Dubster.

Give it time and I am sure video reviews will start showing on the web.

Thank you! I'm sure Jeff is at NAMM, so I'll wait until next week to email. Which reminds me that I'm shocked he takes all the email personally. I expected some tech in the shop, but was pleasantly shocked to get Jeff. Super dude.

Akami got it right ... brandy. Fighting off a cold. Y'know, I didn't mean for the pic to come off like an ad for the brandy, but looking at it I can kinda hear:

What kind of man comes home after a long day and plugs his Stringray 5 into a Streamliner 900 ... an XYZ Brandy man, that's who.

And you plugged in in the middle of the kitchen! Closer to the brandy I guess. Nice one.

Lovely Stingray btw. The lights on the Streamliner are super cool.

AT NAMM today.. Seems like many many Instrument and Speaker makers had Genz Streamliners as their amp heads.. Low Phat cabs and Wyn Basses have numerous Streamliner 900 and MAX 9.2 heads.. Got to see Andy and Jeff early in the day, but was so busy I didnt get back.. Andy see ya this week for sure
