On February 8 I purchased a Streamliner 600 from Donovan at Springfield Music in Springfield, Missouri as a birthday present to myself. SM is a small mom/pop music store that ships anywhere. Donovan is also a frequent poster here on TB and has done several amp shootout videos on YouTube. When he ordered it he told me it would take about a month to arrive which I was ok with as I wasn't in a rush for one. He contacted me yesterday with an update and said it will be here next week. That'll make it about a 2 week delivery. By the way, I've purchased other amps from Donovan and his committment to customer satisfaction is the best I've experienced and his prices are the lowest I've seen around....even on the SL600. One time there was a small glitch in the delivery of an amp and he sent me a T-shirt from the manufacturer (after asking me what size I wore) and a very high quality brand new guitar cord as a gesture of customer satisfaction. That's why I'll always do business with the "small guy". They do a lot to earn and keep their business IMO. |
