Genz Benz Uber cabs..

Sign in to disble this ad
Alright guys. Need some advice. I'm about to buy either 2 uber 410s or a 410 and 212 for my shuttlemax 12.0. I've read some threads on the cabs but didn't see anything on two 410s.

I'm leaning towards the matching set but does the 212 add more lows?

Thanks for any help!

2 matched Uber 410's would bring the lows, through coupling. Mixing the 2 could be great, or not. 2 of the same is guaranteed to sound awesome.

I have heard the 212 and 410 are killer together. But personally, I like to use like cabs with like cabs.. It just works better for me.... Two 410s would knock down walls.... they are very efficient cabs!
I need to order a 410 Genz Cab.. I use two Uber 1288s or two Uber 115s... Never used all 4. but i have used 3 cabs on my Stuttlemax12.. Very loud and full sounding..
But if i were you, which im not.. i like like cabs with like cabs

Both cabs have plenty of lows. I'd go for two 2-12s myself, but either way matching is better.

They have tilt-back casters built into the lower rear edge of the cab.

I have the 410 212 shuttle max 12 and it is un-flipping-believeable how great it sounds.

212's

I would also go with a pair of the 212’s. I just like the tone and flexibility. Plus I can’t imagine ever needing a pair of 410’s, especially Ubers which can really crank very loud before und fartin und startin.

Yeah, if that's an option, a pair of the 212's would be my choice as well. Love those Uber 212's.

I rock the ShuttleMAX 12.0 with the Uber 410/212 stack as a suggested rig from the man himself, Jeff Genzler. It is considered their signature setup.

I have gigged the 410 alone with the SM 12 and it is a killer club setup that is plenty loud with no PA support. I tried the 212 cab alone and it was not my thing. However, matched with the 410 it is very impressive and it still blows me away after 2 years of rocking this setup!

I would imagine a pair of Uber 410s would be just as impressive. But, the 410/212 combo does ad some variety!

They stack nicely. Looks awesome, but I can’t imagine doing a club gig with that much firepower! Festival or concert sure…

I still prefer a pair of 212's but I like 12's.

Nice Rig.. and welcome to the other side ! Freedom!

Looks similar to my rig, but I have two Uber 115s... I really need to get a ShuttleMAx 9.2 though... TO me its a must have right now....
