I just got a sick deal on a Genz Benz Uber Quad cabinet and I plan to use it under my David Eden Metro Combo for the times when I need a little more volume. This will be replacing an Eden 210XLT extension cabinet that serves the larger venue purpose now. What I'm hoping for is a little fuller bottom from the 12" driver and sweet singing mid range from the twin 8" drivers. I have read great reviews about this cab but I have never heard of anyone powering it with an Eden amp. For those that don't remember the Metro its really just a WT800 head and a 210XLT cabinet mashed together. So for the full on rig it will be a WT800 amp running at 4 ohms and powering one Eden 210XLT cab and one Genz Uber Quad. What do you guys think...?
Seriously, the only way to know is to plug 'em in and play it. Impossible to guess how 2 mis-matched cabs will sound, but for sure, the Uber is an awesome cab, and the Metro is an awesome amp.

Really different sounding cabs. It will be interesting to see how they pair. The best cabinet I have put under a Metro is an Eden 210 xst. IMHO, the uber quad has a very clear, almost monitor like tone. I wouldn't be surprised if the metro 210 overpowers the quad in terms of volume.
