I should have stated in my op that the amp was less than three months old and under warrantee at the time. And to be fair to Fender CS; they were nice and all, just slower than I would have liked at the time.
Regardless of what happens I will still rock my NeoX 212 and the bassman 150 for that matter. And besides the 212 is a "real" Genz cab, pre buy out rat fur and all. Quote:

Also, when smogg posted about a part for a 7 year old amp it wasn't clear that his amp was under warranty when he needed the part. |

And even if they do stop production, FMIC will have to honor the warranties. | Just look what happened to the Pope after they bought the Vatican. No word yet on prior claim handling. |

There have been posts (in other threads) to the effect that "I was saving up for a Genz amp, but now I'm buying something different". That makes no sense at all. If a Shuttlemax was a good amp before the realignment why isn't it still a good amp?
How does it hurt any of us that Mr. Genzler and others from Genz Benz will be designing products for other brand names? I see that as good thing.
So what if someone other than Mr. Genzler answers when you call or email customer service? Yeah, it was kinda' cool having the founder of the brand reply, but is it really a necessity? | No it's not. But I do feel for folks who lose their jobs. Sure, my life will go on as always, but I certainly don't want to see them lose the jobs they obviously love. Not saying that's happening, but I would feel bad if they all got laid off.

But it's purely speculation that anyone (other than Hapa) is losing their jobs.
My guess (speculation) is that most employees who are no longer needed in the Genz division will be reassigned to other Fender departments in Scottsdale. |

Either way the Pope doesn't pick up the phone when I call and the new customer service guys are worthless. It's like they're speaking a different language. Quote:
