I'll add that I care more about what is heard out front than I do on stage. Maybe why any band I am in has little trouble getting gigs, fans and always get asked back?

Less power than advertised, but decent tone. Works OK out of the box, but shoddy assembly and some issues that raise questions about long-term durability, especially if roughly handled...

Well I guess that's accurate. They are primarily door stops.

Good luck.

This is about the best quote on all of talkbass.

I would love to take it into an auditioning room, hook up 4 8x10's to it so it's running 4ohms and crank it while a tech uses a ampprobe on the AC line, voltage meter on the output, DB meters 20 feet away from the speakers, and toss all this speculation down the drain.

"ya it sounds like this or that compared to...." would be a thing of the past.

not dummy loads at full power for 7.53ms with computers monitoring the results, but under actual "loud" bass playing conditions.

I can't see that ever happening on Talkbass (or any other bass forum). The scientific method doesn't cut much ice around here

Bugera NUKE gets roadtested next week at a medium club, good FOH but the operator is questionable as the bass seems to disappear as the night goes on. I sound great in soundcheck but he seems to gradually lower the fader on me. This rig will fix that issue. The Nuke has been put in a rack case and run about 30 hours since I got it here.
It will be pushing(biamped) a 1x18 with a 4x8+horn/tweeter on top.
My existing rack(SansAmpRBI,dbx166xL,QSC2402) will be nearby in case I've got a "bad one".
Yes I'll post pics, post-gig.
