Getting impatient waiting for my Portaflex

I ordered my Portaflex 500 and 115 cab from MF back in early Feb...here it is April. Anyone else getting impatient? Do the few of you that have gotten them like them? Was it worth the wait?

Thinking about cancelling and getting a Streamliner...

Need support one way or the other here. Thanks, DD

Dude, it's listed as coming in this week, (the 8th). You've waited this long, you should be able to wait four more days. Be patient.

Yes, I just got off the phone and they told me the 7th, so I'll give it until Friday the 8th.

But, to be clear, it has also been promised on Feb 28, March 7, March 14, March28. I don't put a lot of faith in the ship dates MF lists.

I wouldn't either, especially since as of January the ampeg rep on this board said they expect availability beginning in march - which was subject to change as production ramped up.

So my real questions are: Do the few of you that have gotten them like them? Most posts on the PF 350 500 thread have only played them at the store, and not through the Ampeg PF cabs.

Does anyone have a full PF setup yet and gigged with it?

Nothing is ever a guarantee when it comes to the delivery date of a pre-order or back ordered item. Why would you jump ship now and get something else? That would tell me that you really didn't want the Portaflex bad enough in the first place to wait for them to arrive.

Huh? Didn't want one bad enough? I wanted it 2 months ago. I wanted it 2 weeks ago. I still want it. But if I'm not going to get it anytime soon there are plenty of other amps out there that look promising and are actually available. I'm not buying it for an investment I'm buying it to play.

Still waiting for someone who has one to chime in.

Well my wait will soon be over. My 500/115 shipped on Friday and should be here today! Tracking shows "Out for delivery". Now let's see how early I can leave work today!
