GK 1001rb, Did I get a Deal?

Everybody likes a deal, right, and we like to brag when we think we got one.

I run 2 GK RBX cabs, 15 on the bottom and 2 10s on top with an GK 1001rb and I had an MB-500 on top as a back up.

The other day I saw another GK 1001rb used that looked brand new for 399.00 (runs perfect, no problems)

I started thinking why not get the used rb1001 and use that as a back up.

I gave them my MB-500 and $76.00

Was it a deal or did I get taken, I have no clue

Personally I would have kept the 500. Price seems on par though

Hey it's GK you will probably never need a backup.

Seems like a fair price, especially since you were buying from an actual store and not here on the classifieds. I have a local shop here that has a 400RB-III listed for 375 dollars I think, they had another one for 395 but it sold (was in a bit better condition). If you are happy with the 1001RB, now you are double happy.

Yeah, I guess fair is good. I plan on stacking it right where my old MB-500 was. BTW, GK is a nice amp for those of us that can't see spending a ton of $$ for gear.
