Currently, I have my 1001RB-II in a SKB 4U roto rack with a 2U vent panel above it. While there is nothing wrong with it, it is a hassle to tote around from gig to gig. I was looking into the SKB 2U ATA and was wondering if any of you who are using a similar setup could post pictures of the front and back views. Cough georgestrings cough cough! Thanks guys

The back has just enough room to get my Neutrik speaker connectors plugged in, which is enough to store my power cable and speaker cables in transit. No wasted space. |

MM | Yes - the GK manual strongly recommends at least a 3 space rack.

I've used this in temps of 95+, and never had a problem...

But, if you look at a manual for the earlier series, it only calls for 1/2" of fan clearance - my SKB 2U ATA case gives around 3/4" clearance, and it's never given me any problems...

Well, it vents out the front, and the fan draws air *in* thru the top - so, I'm thinking that as long as there's enough room for the fan to draw in air, it's fine... The other part of this is, these amps typically run pretty cool - even in the 2U case, my fan doesn't come on all that much...
