GK 1001RB2 vs GK mb 800

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi guys, I have been hijacking alot of gk threads lately and they have been super helpful.

I read somewhere about a comparison between a 700 rb2 and mb 500 and thought it was interesting. think someone said there's a bit more character in the 700 but the mb 500 is lighter and that's about it. In the end very similar.

If you would make a comparison between the 1001rb2 and mb 800, would they relate to each other in the same way or is there any new features in the mb 800 making it different from the mb 500 resulting in the mb 800 and 1001 rb2 being more different/less different than 700 rb2 and mb 500?

Thanks!

The MB series does not have the bi-amp feature like the RB series. I am a GK guy and I think the MB500 pretty much nails the GK tone that I love.
