My friend Bob had it on his bench and got the same results as I did. That's good. So now we wait...

If you were the merch guy, we were probably a few feet from you after the show, standing in the longa** coat check line. The show was indeed awesome.

Greg, that's excellent. I sure will. Yeah, the coat line sucked, haha. I also had NO idea Lakland was right up the road from me...nice! Where do the GTGs usually get posted? I'll definitely keep an eye out.

They had one in October, so the next one may not be for a while. The GTGs get posted in the "Social Events & GTGs" subforum.

Anyway, it was all buttoned up when I went back to get it today. The problem was a little capacitor about the size of a green pea. The case of the capacitor looked like it was made out of clothesline rope. Unfortunately the amp guy didn't really say where it was in the circuit or on the board, but it absolutely KILLS now. I can't stand next to my D410XLT / Crown PBII with the clean channel halfway up and the main at about 9 o'clock.
The point of this thread was to perhaps make a reference for people who might end up having this problem; unfortunately this is as helpful as it gets. Maybe I can cojole him for more details...
