I have a chance to purchase this amp used. I can't find out anything about the "206" on GK's website. The seller is a Musicgoround store an hour away. There is no picture on their site and the guy says it's from the early 90's. He said the 206 might mean 200 watts. It is on the front grill of the amp. Anyone have this specific GK microbass amp and can comment on it? I had a mid 80's MB200 and wish I hadn't sold it. That thing was like a mini tank.

GK used to make a mini guitar amp with a pair of I think 5" speakers. It might be a guitar amp. I worked with a guy who had one. Very loud little thing for guitar. You had to mic it up for gigs though. No good at all for bass.

I have the MB 150S now. 1x12", 150 watts into 4 ohms. It's better than the old 200. I love the sound I get from it. Will handle a bigger room with an extension cabinet. I've successfully driven a 1x15" extension cabinet with it. Sounds way bigger than 150 watts. You might want to look for a used one.

They weigh 25 lbs.

The sales guy claims it's a 1 -12" bass combo. I was hoping that it was a regular used MB150E (chorus) but the 206 in the model number and on the front of the grill has thrown me. I might just bite the bullet and drive up there and look at it. They have pictures of 11 out of the 14 used bass amp combos, and this GK is one of the 3 w/o a picture .... Below is a link:
