When in Hell is this Cab gonna ship ? !!!.... It's been on Backorder (with MF) for over 4 Months now....
Also,.. I made the big mistake of getting the warranty on it "then" ...but (i wasn't &) I'm not paying for a warranty on an item that I don't own, or i never know if i'm gonna own?...{logical..rite?..) and now they (not MF but HSBC) wants me to pay more than double the amount the cost of the warranty in late fees....along with collection notices & all that other fun stuff.... (hmm.. where's the 'smiles' icon for "Bulls%&?"... ) I came yay close to canning the whole thing...but I only canceled the warranty until the shipping date becomes a reality, & after an hour long phone call to MF, They said that they will handle things with HSBC (i just hope that and 10 cents buys me more than a piece of bubble gum...Oy..what a mess this turned into)...a little lesson peeps...don't go for the warranty on an item, (or the item itself for that matter) unless your item is in stock and the exact shipping date is in writing,... i didn't want to message or bother RAG directly...just thought i'd start a rant-based thread instead...(maybe he'll pop up to say 'shut up & keep yer shirt on, dude'... lol)
i dunno..anyone else having a similar epic adventure trying to obtain this Cab????

I feel you though on the agony of waiting. I preordered my VT Bass Deluxe pedal back in February with a bunch of others here on TB in a group buy. Originally it was supposed to be released in May, now it's looking like August. |

(but, yeah..i know, i know..hsbc couldn't care less about the technicalities...) btw.. i didn't cancel the order on the 'Cab', just that cancerous warranty.. (until they tell me it shipped, then i might go for it) Quote:

i was just getting leary about the "one hand doesn't know (or care) what the other hand is doing" jazz....& when i forsee a possible future problem, "the alarms start to go off"....lol...but it's all good if that blasted warranty is gone from my order..
MF did slightly 'allude' to the idea..that there might be a "Quality Issue", on this model Cab being delayed...
i would love Rag to jump in with a headsup, if that's the case...

| | | | GK does not seem comfortable with addressing issuess with their equipment on this forum.
There have been numerous posts asking about potential ship dates for the light weight cabs as well as about QC issues with the MB500 head.
I can understand not addressing these items directly but I do think it bad business to allow pre-orders for a product that really doesn't have an accurate ship date.
One thing to create product buzz; another to allienate your customers. |

Time and time again ive seen him step up to the plate to help someone out including me. Every manufacturer always have shipping dates moved and such, its when demand out weighs the supply. |

RAG addressed this on another thread, I beloved, saying they were hiring/training as many as they could to meet the increased worldwide demand. I wanted the 210 version to go with my 210 combo, but I'm waiting it out until I see regular product out there being used. I'll just continue hauling my 70 lb. GLX 115 around until then.

The new light weight stuff has understandbly been having new product issues that IMO have not been talked about at least here. I have to think that they are not happy about releasing a product that quickly went into 7 revisions just to make it work, as well as accepting orders for a product that has a questionable delivery date.
Seems like a disconnect between marketing, engineering, and management; these MB problems can't be good for anybody. |

I have to say, there's a whole bunch of really good speaker cabinets out there. Paying ahead for one that doesn't exist just doesn't compute. |

After trying the MB212, I am confident that the 212MBE is going to be worth it's wait !.....just hope it's not toooo long. |
