I have a friend who has recently taken delivery of 2x GK 410MBE cabs (run from his 600W head) and did his 1st gig with them a week ago. They sounded very good with the band, but when playing at practice or not so loud volume, there is a fuzzy/furry sort of noise coming from them (hard to describe in writing). He has checked for mechanical problems and removed the grills, to no avail. Is this a characteristic of these GK cabs and nothing to worry about. Can anyone offer advice on what this noise may be?
