GK 700RbI problem, need help!

Hi!

Well, i recently tried to exchange my RbI 210 combo for Fafner. When the other guy plugged the guitar in my RbI it failed completely. Suddenly it was half as loud as it was before and tweeter was not audible.

When i brought it back to my place to see what was wrong the tweeter was audible again. I mean, i can hear actual difference when its on or off. When i turn off the woofer I hear that "clanky" frequencies only. Is that okay?

And what could be the reason for the drop in volume?

Please help. I'm a student, I just can't afford a new amp. :F you know how it is...

Thanks
