GK 700RBII with Eden D410XLT

I just picked up a D410XLT for $400.00,,, and I will be using my GK 700RBII,,,Should this be a good match? I was using an Ampeg BSE410HLF....

Played it for the first time tonight,,,sounded great, lots of growl,,I played a American P Bass with TI Flats... but I did notice some buzz, ..I was set at about 11:00 vol,,,

Yeah, that should be a pretty punchy combination.

Were you hearing buzz from the cabinet? That could be a number of things. Best thing might be to take a cardboard or PVC tube (whatever's handy) and try to find out where it's coming from.

Possible causes if it's from the cab might be

1) bad driver
2) loose screws or glue joint
3) puffing out the back of the cab from the 1/4" jacks, though this sounds more like a whistle

Did you get that XLT off CL?

It seemed to be coming from the cab..I will try the tip you gave me,and try to pin it down,Thanks,, yeah it was a CL find..

This one came from Modesto,CA.. looks like new,,its about 4 yrs old, is what I was told...Huge improvement over the BSE..
