I use a 800RB with my fEarful 15/6+1 works great as portable vintage SS rig-o-doom.

If you want to give the concept a whirl get ahold of biamp wired 3-way PA cab like the Carvin LS1503 -it'll make you want a fEarful to go with your 800RB

Full range w/ ampeg 810

Great great great bass amp!

The only way my 800RB is ever going anywhere is if a vintage SVT pops up for under a grand, and I'm not holding my breath on that one. In the meantime, I use the Catalinbred SFT for that growl.
Truly a great combination and HIGHLY recommended.

I run Bi-Amped. 300W into a Hartke HX115 and XL410 100W high end into a Ampeg 210 W/Horn. You really should hear this. I run the X-over at about 2:00 where I think it sounds best. I run the low end gain wide open and the high end about 75%. I play Pop Alt rock and the punch with my G&L SB-2 and Stingrays can just about blow you off your feet up close. To tell you the truth, the bi-amp is nice but makes a slight improvement on the high end. I would have no problem running the 115 and 210 on the main power or the 115 and the 410 on just the main. The HX115 has a horn too so it handles the high end which I tame down on the horn control anyway. I am also playing in a Honkytonk Country band now too, setup does fine in this Genre also.

Either way, the GK800rb rocks (I have 2) and gives plenty of options for different size venues. Very true amp, good bass = good sound. bad bass= you guessed it.
