Well, my XYL convinced me to sell the GK GLX 810, and I dont blame her. It is an S.O.B. to move through the halls of my 130 yr old house. At about 150-160 lbs, it wasn't exactly "nimble" either. My question is, "how does a GK 810neo compare to a 412neo?" I've never played a 412 and am not at all familiar with accoustics, tone, etc. I like the volume and response from alot of relatively smaller speakers, but alas, am getting too old to f*(k with cabs this weight. I will be using my GK1001RBii head, hopefully biamped to the GK cab. The neo412 is lighter, smaller, and handles way more power than the neo810. Any drawbacks? Thanks. |

| | Vanilla Thunda | | | | | I have the Neo 4x12 while it weighs only 99lbs it is still tough to move, it is very wide, barely get it through my door frames. It sounds awesome as hell, but i wish i would have opted for 2 2x12's. One other draw back is ther are no side handles on the 4x12 which is odd, only the towel bar on the top back. Im going to see about installing my own. The cab is killer so don't get me wrong, the response imo is really good feels like im playing through 10's but with more umph. Hope this helps.

So glad I did, as often I only need to take 1 cab...The Neo 212's are amazing, and I can readily recommend them to anyone. The get loud, they sound great and they are very portable and light. 2 of them with the 1001 is stupid loud and low!
