GK or Avatar, what would you do?

So I'm cab shopping and had pretty much made up my mind on snagging a Neo 410 Avatar and making some upgrades (tbolts, 4th order crossover).

Well, there's a sweet deal on a GK Neo212 over in the classifieds that has caught my eye. Haven't researched the GK much, but I'm sure it's sweet.

I play out once a month at most, and usually with PA support. Mostly I'll be hauling this to rehearsals and jams with friends. Will be pushing it with a GB Max12.

I know with limited info, it's hard to make a good suggestion, but if you were me, what would you opt for? Help a brotha out!

Thanks

It occurs to me that neither of those two options is ideally suited to a ShuttleMAX 12.0. So I would suggest "none of the above" - although between those two options, I would prefer the GK 2x12 - simply because I've sort of soured on 4x10s, and because the GK 12s are reputed to be very nice.

Downside to the GK: Unless you're able to get your hands on a 4-ohm model (does GK still make them?), you'll be limited to an 8-ohm cab - which allows you to access only 375 watts from the ShuttleMAX. Could be sufficient for you. But you might prefer more headroom.

Suggestion: If your heart is set on 10s, get a couple of Avatar 2x10 Neo cabs - 4 ohms each - and stack them vertically, with the ShuttleMAX on top.

Alternate suggestion: Bag the Avatars and the GK cab(s), and pick up a pair of Genz Benz Neo-X 2x12 cabs. A perfect match for the ShuttleMAX.
