Has anyone ever used their BL600 at 2.67ohms? (my old peavey was rated at 4ohms and I could run it all day with a hard short and it would stay cool to the touch and just laugh).

I would not try it.
Also, if you truly had a short in your chain, your speakers would not have seen any power whatsoever and you wouldn't have had sound.

There was no sound (speaker wires pinched together)
