GK Cabinet Date and Wattage

Sign in to disble this ad
I've had a GK 4x10 for about 10 years and it was pretty used when I bought it. By the cable inputs it has three small white stickers that read:

1. 90933XX (last two are really digits)
2. Made in Canada
3. GK410
8 ohms

The front has a plastic panel across the top of the grille with the GK logo and Gallien Krueger in magenta with four thin sky blue stripes. This is all pretty well worn off.

I'm curious as to the year of manufacture, model (ha, probably just GK410!) and the rated wattage. Much thanks in advance.

I'll give this thread one last shot, as I know Bob Gallien has posted here fairly often. Or anyone else with info; please let me know.

All I can say is I know for a fact that the magenta and blue stripes logo was part of the final product in the early 80s and they haven't been making them like that for a while. If it doesn't say GMT anywhere on it then it was definitely made after the 70s. I know that doesn't help much.
