I would choose the GK but in no way is the hartke a lesser amp, I have played this amp at a gig once and it was fantastic as well. But the weight of the hartke was a whole lot more than the gk. If thats something that dosent matter to you then you cant go wrong with either. |

Ive got a GK backline 4x10 that my buddy bought used about 4 years ago, and I ended up buying from him, so its double used and still kicking. So the reliabilty and longevity of GK is something to consider. hatkes also sound good but weigh as much as a bus. GKs where its at, you wont be dissapointed |

I LOVE that my gk can go from smooth buttery tones to nasty growling tones. |

I play rock, funk, jazz, latin, ect and it never fails to give me a great tone. The GK preamp is very warm and can definetly hang with the best. Ive played ampeg SVT solid states, SWRs, Hartkes, Mesas just about everything and nothing compares to the GK within 600$ of the price i paid for it. They make fantastic sounding amps and would deffinetly recomend them over the hartke |

| | | | The ad says its a 410 Neo cab. Looks like a 410MBE to me, which is a lower priced cab. Hopefully the price reflects that fact.
My vote is GK, if only because that combo looks heavy. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | |
