GK MB 115 question
 

i was in a local music store looking through their stock of the GK USA made mini bass combos today. They had the 115 the 210, and the 212, but also a 115 that looked just like the Chinese made ones and had a factory sticker on the back which read "designed and assembled in USA" It didn't have the plug in for the "chain" set up.

Is this the typical Chinese one, or something half and half, or what? The salesman said it was "last year's model"

The Chinese ones I'd seen before said so on the back.

Just wondering. I don't want a Chinese one.

Anybody know about these?

As far as I know GK moved ALL production to US

That was a remaining bare chassis when the China plant ended production (12/31/2011). It was built in California and they placed the stickers on them until the newly printed chassis was available. The China plant was not an out-source third party factory. All remaining raw parts were shipped back to the US to complete orders.
