Is there any way to hook this up to recording devices such as a multi-track recorder???
There's a headphone jack and an XLR direct out

Ooh boy.

What's a multi-track recorder?? :^>

You mean to a mixing board that feeds some kind of recording system? Then yeah, the XLR can go to a channel strip in a mixer; or it could go into a computer via a digital interface (as long as the interface has mic inputs).

However: Unless the MB112 XLR is distinctly improved over the rest of GK's MBxxx line, it's no screaming hell. For the cleanest signal, better you put a D.I. box between your bass and the amp -- which will give you both an XLR to record from, and a parallel 1/4" out to feed the amp.

Hmm there are XLR's on the recorder. So far I have my bass connected to the amp, then the amps XLR to the recorder but I'm getting no signal. Aye! :-/

If your multi-track/audio interface has Hi-Z (instrument level) inputs, you may be better off going directly in from your bass and using headphones or monitors.

I'm not sure why you wouldn't be getting a signal. Some DIs output a microphone-level signal, and your multi-track may be expecting line level. Still, you should get something, so there may be a more fundamental issue. Like it's busted.

Do you have access to any kind of gear that has a meter of some kind? Like, a mixer, or a preamp or compressor with XLR inputs? (Ask some friends.)
If you plugged the amp's line out into one of those, you could check to see if the signal makes the L.E.D.s jump at all.

The recorder is the only thing i have with a meter. I'm pretty sure it was the amp, either way, I sent it back
