Hello, I’m looking for a well built affordable road case from my Gallien-Krueger MB115 Bass Combo Amp - does anyone have a recommendation (quick link)? Thank you.

Try Island cases. They are on Ebay. I've bought a couple of cases from them. Yehy make a nice mid range case.

Seems a bit counter-productive to me to get a heavy road case built for a combo amp that was designed to be lightweight and portable.

With a case you will now have a heavy, more difficult to carry/less portable rig that doesn't sound quite as good as a "standard" weight rig.

Have you considered just a slip-cover?

What are you needing the road case for? If you are not touring with it, and you just need to protect the amp consider a slip cover as Eric said or go find a cheap rolling suitcase you can put it in.

You could just do what I do to protect the speakers on my MB 210. I use a piece of foam core with velcro on it to cover the grille.

Hi Eric, yes my friend Susan at "Studio Slips" here in Santa Rosa, CA made padded covers for my GK MB115's and I love them.

Custom Covers and Bags by Studio Slips

And I'd also like road cases too.

If anyone here has found a stock well built reasonably priced road case that fits their GK MB115 combo like a glove please jump in and tell me about it - otherwise, I’ll spend the extra money and have them custom built. Thank you.
