If you go and try some amps you may not have just these two as your choices. |
Like he said. I initially bought a Fender Rumble 100 as my first "decent" amp, but took it back to the store because of salesperson deception (not about the amp, but about pricing as he failed to give me the discounts and specials the store was running at the time, then acted as if he had). When I went shopping later, I compared four amps (Hartke Kickback 12, Fender Rumble 100, Acoustic B200, and Ampeg BA-115). My pre-shopping choice was the Kickback 12, but after playing and listening to all of them, I reluctantly settled on the Acoustic B200 (reluctantly because the beast weighed about 75 pounds). Right before I was ready to leave, however, I saw the G-K MB115 in the corner. I had never seen it before, and I tried it out. The MB115 wound up being the one I purchased, and I haven't regretted it one bit (except for occasionally wondering if I should have saved up some more cash and gotten the MB210 instead...)
