From GK MB200 to MB500?

Sign in to disble this ad
I absolutely love my GK MB200 as a home practice and small gig amp. I love it so much that I'm constantly thinking about upgrading it to an MB500.

I don't need more volume but a few features of the 500 interest me (separate preamp gain, mute switch, contour knob. etc.).

What are your thoughts?

Love the MB2-500, thinking about adding an MB200 into the mix for lower volume gigs... Keep the MB200 and add to your quiver...

Or just wait till the new GK MB-800 is available and add that with your MB-200!

The MB200 didn't sound the same as a MB500...it sounds better. Maybe not as flexible or as powerful, but it gets a great sound as soon as you turn it on. No need to worry about the gain structure of the boost, volume, master, etc. Just turn it on and play...
