When I turn the volume knob of my GK MB200, I hear crackling noise. I've fixed noisy bass knobs by applying de-oxit. Can I use the same method on the amp volume knob?

If that's a brand new head I'd contact by e-mail, GK/B. Gallien, and see what he'd recommend before squirting anything into a new head.
Wouldn't want to void the warranty.
Chances are that's what GK will tell you to try first, but I'd want to hear it from them.
