GK MB210-II ?

Hi TBers, a friend of mine is selling his GK MB210 combo, I love GK I own (MB200, 2-MBE115, 1001rb II). was looking at the mb800 and the mb500 tough choice. My main concern is weight and efficiency. If I bought my friends' mb200 combo could I remove the amp section and use it like a mb500 amp? My friend is going back to Honduras and is liquidating all his gear for cash
but I dont really want another combo, he offered me a very good price under $300. I've used his combo at a few of his gigs
when we did a few outdoor summer events so I didnt have to bring my rig. I love the sound of my 2-mbe115's with the 1001rb but havent tried a 115+210 combo. Please Help, I am buying his combo tonight.

IIRC the chassis for the combo is different from the stand alone MB500 . The amp is the same but the chassis it is fitted to is different.
Don't know if that helps you any?
