GK MB212 - quit mid-song. Flashing power light

Just stopped cold mid-song on me. The ring around the power button clicks on and off and lights red. It's quite loud, like a relay or something. Even after you release the button to OFF, it still does this for about 10 seconds then dies off.

2 weeks old, 2nd time using it at a normal volume. Settings are far from extreme. Flat 12 o'clock on all knobs. Limiter on, horn on, Gain at 11:00, master volume at 10:00, cruising along.

Was going to return it anyway, out of spite to Sweetwater, I won't go into that now, long story. But now I have to...

I did a google on the subject and found nothing about the flashing red light.

It's going back either way, but I'm curious if this happens with any of the other MB combos?

I used a first generation MB2-500 for 2 years with zero issues. I figured these amps were fairly stable by now.

Are you sure you weren't playing your Xbox 360?

But seriously, sounds like a nightmare. Funny thing is that I was gonna pick one of those up last week, but didn't.
