Angry GK MB212 tweeter problem

Sign in to disble this ad
I really wish the tweeter was sealed on this amp. is anyone else really bugged by all the air noise that you get when you play at a medium volume? it probably would not be heard over a band, but when i practice, i have to drape a folded towel over the tweeter so i don't have to hear it.

does anyone else out there notice this? has anyone attempted to somehow seal the tweeter or switch it out for a sealed unit?

if it weren't for the fact that i like the sound of the tweeter when i am using my upright, i would probably just find a way to remove the tweeter and seal the hole.
