gk mbfusion experiences

I've just recently sold my svt classic. Ive always favored svt's most of my playing career but found it was a bit of overkill for the bands I'm currently working with and wanted something lighter. I already have an swr headlite which i think is a great little amp but was very curious about either the genz benz strealiner or the new gk mb fusion. I found a gk for sale in a local music store and went for that. I have owned it for a few weeks now and had a chanch to give it a good workout. Wow!! what a great sounding head and lots of volume. It far surpassed my expectations and sounds incredible running flat with a slight low mid boost. I couldnt believe the bottom end of this amp, especially for a micro. I was wondering if anyone else who got this head is as impressed as i am or if its just a sound that suits me. I will always place svt's at the top of the list as the best sounding amp and didnt think another hybrid would do it for me but this little baby has me excited every time i plug it in. I have used many amps in my time but other than the svt this one really got my attention. Congradulations to gallien krueger for coming out with such a killer little head.

I too am very impressed with it. It's a very different sound from Ampeg to me, but that's OK. If definitely fills a room.
