GK Neo 112 vs. Epifani or Berg 112

Sign in to disble this ad
Very interested in the GK 1x12's and have read many positive reviews.

I'd like to know if anybody (Tom B??) can compare the GK Neo 1x12's (which I have never heard) to either the Epifani 1x12's (any model) or the Bergantino HT112 (non-ER version)?

I've owned both the Epi's and the Bergies so I thought that either would be a good reference point.

Thanks in advance!!

Check this out, comparison between AE112 and GK.. mentions the HT about halfway down

Bergantino AE112 or Gallien Krueger 112 neo II

You da man! Thanks!!

According to Mr. Tom B,
Quote:
I'll give the nod to the GK for more balanced response throughout the lows/mids, and it has an even more powerful sounding low end (the Neo112-II is in between the HT112-ER and the AE112 in this regard).
He compared it to the ER version of the Berg HT112 while I only have experience with the original Berg HT112 (non ER). So sounds like the GK will have plenty of bottom.

Sounds like, from what I've read, that the GK sort of falls in between the Epi S2 UL112 tone and the Berg HT112 tone? With maybe a lean towards the Bergie?
