| | | | Wattage? So, if I run a G-K powered speaker off one of the new combo amps, would I get the combined wattage of the two cabinets as output? (combo wattage PLUS powered cab wattage) |

Got a very nice response the next day. Included two local shops who have received units and their contact info. Also told me the 112-MBP is expected to ship the end of Aug early Sept. because I need one of those as well.
I just want to publicly thank GK for being so responsive. IME not a standard practice for large MI companies, or retail stores for that matter.
Thanks GK, way to go!

Thanks GK, way to go! | Way cool, and thanks for the shipping update info - I want one of the new little tiny but powerful 100w, 21lbs GK MB110 combo amps.

I was ready to sell my 700rb and mb410 and 115 and make a thunderhorse of a rig with powered cabs but it looks like my getting the mb212 when it came out is bitting me in the ass in the long run.. kinda pissed and bummed... |

But the MB-II combos and MBP cabs look really nice and I really want one of the new little 100w, 21lbs, MB110 combos. http://www.amazon.com/Gallien-Kruege...+krueger+mb110

| | | | Bought an MB115 at GC two months ago - no chain out. Did I just get hosed? Love the tone, weight and price. What happens if I take the XLR direct out into the powered cab? Would have also liked for GC to have provided some input and advice instead of just moving product. Cogito ergo sum. |

| | | | Tried to be clever with my last post and use one of two Latin phrases I've ever learned. Turns out "I think therefore I am" wasn't what I was going for. How about Caveat emptor? Buyer beware. Okay, not a direct translation either but you get the point. I still feel hosed
buying a "new" mb115 that doesn't have the chain out. |

The MB115 II is the revised model and includes the "link". The input needed for the powered cabs is at +10db (a hot line level signal). The good news is G-K will trade/upgrade your MB115 if you buy the powered cab, for free (except shipping IIRC).

Yep, the new GK MB-II combos have an XLR output jack called “Chain Output” and the new MBP cabs require a +10dBu "true balanced input" - the MBP cabs also have “Chain Input" and "Chain Output” jacks so you can add as many MBP cabs as you want - which is way cool.

Very loud and punchy, I have used it for a half a dozen gigs so far in smaller rooms with a loud drummer and a guitardist with a randall halfstack and it kept up NO problem, plus it is the easiest load in/out ever! I highly recomend it! I am thinking about getting another MBP and have a 600 watt 3x12 mini stack, If I need more than that I will wip out my MB800 and NEOS! |

| | | | I checked with GK a few months ago about pairing the MB112-II and MBP12 with the Microbass 150 (line out) and was told that would work just fine. That would be a fine rig for UEB, DB, and EB. |
