Hi all,
I'm relatively new to the bass, and I just bought my first non-combo (even remotely "pro") bass head: a GK RB 800. Does anybody have any recommendations for cabinets that work well with it? I'm looking at options across the price range spectrum. Thanks for the guidance!

I'd go an Avatar 212 NEO on the bottom amp (4 ohm version) and a NEO 112 on the top amp (8 ohm version). Now you have 400w pumping through three 12" speakers.  |

I own an ampeg classic 410hlf. i really like it and they can usually be had used pretty cheap. |

I actually don't need it any more, now I just use an SWR Son of Bertha 115, it's 8 ohms so that cuts it to about 200 watts output, but I get a really nice punchy, round sound. Set gain and boost strait up 12:00 and master as needed. Been thinking I should put a 2-10 on top to get more out of it, but the 15 works great alone. P bass with Duncan 1/4lb. and Labella flats.
