GK vs Ampeg: Choosing My Rig Combo...

Sign in to disble this ad
I am looking at two different possible combos.

Option A:
GK MB210 with a GK MB115

Option B:
Ampeg B2RE Head with a Ampeg SVT410 Cab

Both of them are 500W setups but I prefer option A because it is cheaper and the set up is lighter. Does anyone see any reason why I should go with option B instead? I am going to be using them for gigging in small-med bars and clubs.

I would go with A just based on the weight difference!

Thanks for the feedback! I feel more confident going with my first option now. I'll let you know how it works out.

a 410 sealed is very dif from a ported cabs that will be the great dif between, I never used the gk 210 the br2 has a great sound for a ss, I would go with the option a, a light combo and a 1x15 when you need much volumes much more practical, and the br2 is not light
