GK800RB Bi-Amping?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys...just need a little help here please.

Can I run an Ampeg 410HLF (4ohms) with an Ampeg PN-210 (8ohms) out of my GK800RB?

Example:
The 300w section into the 410HLF (4 ohms)
and the 100w section into the PN-210 (8 ohms)

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Thanks

Yes and that is the only way to hook them up. You still have the choice to run in Bi-amp or both cabs full range though.

The 800RB has a push switch labeled "Bi-amp". With this switch out both amps receive the full range of sound from your bass. Push the switch in and the "High" amp receives only the frequencies above where you have the "Frequency" control set. Play with the frequency control to find the overall sound you like best.
