good 15 cab to go with a pair of vl108's

I am brainstorming about getting a 15" cab to go with my EA vl108's. I will be using a EA mirco that puts out 550 watts at 2 or 4ohms. I'm thinking i should get a 4ohm cab and drive my amp down to 2 ohms. splitting the watts between the vl108's and the single 15.

The vl's are not real efficient so i'm not sure what 15 to match with them. I will be using a p-bass and playing primarily bluegrass/country stuff. Thoughts?

Why not just get more Vl108's? If they're 8 ohms, run 4 of them IIRC, they go pretty low as is.

I thought about that as well but really want a 15, maybe even 2 8ohm 15's. I was thinking maybe get a pair of bag ends and and run them all together.

Why? What is your tonal and volume goal? And are you sure it'd be best served by combining the VL108s with something and not just replacing your cabs?

well i use my vl's for upright bass and thought it would be fun to add a 15 for electric bass. I have no intention of replacing my vl's. On electric bass i would be playing country/blues. I may just get a tube set up instead.
