Good amp techs in Baltimore, MD area?

Sign in to disble this ad
Now that I determined I will probably need a tech for the issue I am having with my Ashdown ABM500 (Issue with Ashdown ABM500), does anyone have any recommendations in the Baltimore MD area?

Thanks!

There's a guy on craigs that people I know have used. I can't remember the name of his company but the logo has a VU meter in it.

Craig's List?

I'm not really sure I want to go THAT route! (unless the guy actually has a reputable business)

Thanks though.

Brooks Harlan is your man for Baltimore repair guys. He doesn't have a "real" website so here is his facebook page for the business. Just shoot him an e-mail: Big Crunch - Amp & Guitar Repair - Local Business - Baltimore, MD - Info | Facebook

He works out of the same building as the Magpie Cage recording studio, has done work for Wino, Clutch, etc. I took my SVT in fault mode there a couple months ago. He charged me a $45 bench fee, had a slightly used power tube laying around that was a good match for my shorted tube and I ended up paying $65 total. I had him do some work on my SVT-3 Pro a couple years ago too. Very nice guy and very knowledgeable.
