Good amps for £300?

Hi guys, im in a band and we will be gigging in the next 2 months, i have a peavey 150w bass amp i bought off a friend and since i've been saving up, i have a budget of £300, is there anything that can pack a bigger punch for gigging, preferably something new as my peavey is 9 years old. Thanks.
